I hope you’re having a beautiful day today.
I had a case recently where the gentleman was in the hospital due to severe leg pain. He spent two nights at the hospital and was stuck with over $45,000 in medical bills. The insurance company was stating that the two nights at the hospital were not medically necessary. How could they possibly determine that? I spoke to the CFO at the hospital, the chief financial officer, and thank goodness we were able to have the case overturned by the doctors explaining the need for the patient to be at the hospital for two nights. Finally, the $45,000 was paid to the hospital. If you ever need any help, please call me Adria Medwise Insurance Advocacy.
