If someone is outta network and you’re in the emergency room, they have no right to charge you whatever they feel like. If the doctors are out of network and it’s an emergency, please remember you have the right to request a reasonable and customary charge from that network provider. The out-of-network provider, I have to explain this to you. You have, they have no right to gouge you, and I see this happening too often.
