A recent client was informed by the surgeon’s office prior to the surgery that my client was covered for this upcoming surgery. Well, guess what? He was not covered, so now they’re billing my client for only $80,000. When I discussed the situation with the medical Provider’s billing office, it took months, but we were finally able to get the Medical Pro provider to write off that bill. It was not fair for the doctor to perform the surgery, and now the patient’s being told that they were, you know, here, they were originally supposed to be insured, and now they’re responsible for the entire bill. If anything like this happens to you, please call me Adria, Medwise Insurance Advocacy. We’re here to help you. Thank you.
