Hi everyone. I gotta share this story with you. A gentleman was experiencing major pain, which involved kidney stones. He was kept in the hospital overnight and the pill was $43,000. It involved two different insurance companies. Neither of them would pay saying it wasn’t medically necessary. And they’re also saying like, who’s really responsible. So the, the fight was who’s gonna pay the insurance company? And once we were able to determine who the payer should be, which often goes according to different, uh, reasoning, sometimes it has to do with the date of birth. But while I had the two insurance companies on the phone with me, the next battle was to get those bills paid. This case had to go before the Attorney General of the state and the Department of Insurance. And finally, one of the insurance companies agreed to pay the full amount.
