I tell people all the time don’t ever go ahead and pay your medical bill. Very frequently they’re just overcharging you. So, I was recently hired by an attorney for a case in which the client was being charged $61,922. After reviewing the reasonable customer charges, I was able to reduce the bill where the client only needed to pay out $26,000. So that was a reduction of almost $36,000. A medical providers feel they can build whatever they want. Whatever they want to charge and I have to say this is the major reason for bankruptcy in the United States.
