I recently had a case where this four year old boy could not get a cochlear implant. The crazy part about the insurance policy was If the child was deaf in one ear but not the other the insurance company would not cover the procedure. So I asked you if you have the time and if you don’t understand you can always call me. But please read your health insurance policy. I was in shock that a child at age 4 had no choice but to wear a hearing aid which might not even help the child. So I highly recommend you take a good look at your policies before you make a decision on who you want your health insurer to be for every upcoming year. Adria Gross,  Medwise Insurance  Advocacy.
